Students of classes III-VIII went to visit this cultural heritage. Mr. Sunil and Mr. Vinod, the trip organizers were with us throughout the way from school to the farm.   They welcomed all the students and teachers with their very rural hospitality where ushers are dressed like village folk greeting us with a welcome drink of Nimboo-Shikanji, a drink having numerous memories. After that they took us for breakfast venue where we had delicious local cuisine. Then they have divided the children in three groups- One group is of III and IV led by Ms Babita, second group is of V and VI led by Mr Aswini and the third group of VII and VIII led by Mr Rahul Dayal and Mr. Rohan. These instructors took their respective groups along with their teachers to different rural, adventurous activity corner like Pottery, Tent-Stay, Camel Ride, Bullock Ride, Tractor Ride, Team-Building Activities, Vegetable-Picking, Archery, Lattoo, Kanche, Gilli-Danda, Tug of War, Matki-Phod, Kabaddi, Commando Crawl & Tarzan Swing, Burma Bridge, Commando Net, Tent Pitching, Beam Balancing, Double Rope Bridge, Monkey Crawl, Rope Climbing, Rope Ladder and much more. In the afternoon children had rural authentic cuisine in lunch. Then they danced merrily to the tunes of bhangra numbers.

Our children thoroughly enjoyed different indoor games like carom, dart game, air gun at the farm. They had a great time exploring new activities like archery, lattoo, kanche and amazing adventurous games under the supervision of trained instructors. They learnt how cloth is woven from the charkha and how grains are put in the chakki and flour is made. The highlight of the trip was the camel and tractor ride. The highly energetic day ended in the evening.

Overall it was the great learning experience and exposure for the children to the raw ethnic and cultural heritage set up that will really make the difference.
